Poor housing is one of the biggest environmental factors affecting the health of the nation.

We can help to identify and resolve issues within affected properties, ranging from damp and mould to structural defects, whether for the property owner / manager or occupants.

Housing Associations, Landlords and Letting Agents

From a landlord's point of view, we can help to ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, including assisting with, providing a second opinion for and contesting any enforcement action, such as an Improvement Notice or Prohibition Order under the Housing Act.

We can advise on damp and mould issues, whether following a tenant complaint or prior to letting. Following a visit to the property and site survey, we will provide a report detailing suitable remediation and control measures.

For housing associations and letting agents particularly we offer a full property auditing service, either prior to purchase or letting of the property.

For letting agents, this service can assist in any decision to accept a property onto their books and / or request remedial works.

Local Government

If following an inspection of a property, a tenant or landlord is contesting the outcome, we can offer an independent second opinion with a full detailed report, including a HHSRS risk assessment.

We can also undertake initial assessments including HMO inspections (either licensed or unlicensed) to cover short term staff loss or absence.
